On 25th May 2009, MTS Work of Mercy was extended to Rev Bonnie Sedau and family for the restoration work after a fire.

On 12th March 2009, MTS presented the donations from Work of Mercy to three organizations, namely Methodist Children's Home, Sibu Kidney Foundation and Methodist Care Center.

欲2009年3月12日4.30pm，全时间讲师和学生与短宣生们来了一场篮球友谊赛。球赛结果是短宣生队伍获得胜利。

At 4.30pm on 12th March 2009, there was a friendly basketball match between some full time lecturers and students with the STMS students. The STMS students' team won the match in the end.
